Serta Simmons Bedding is stepping into the branded licensing arena with the launch of a new Skechers mattress collection, marking the company’s takeover of the license.

The new Skechers collection from Serta will make its debut at the upcoming Las Vegas Market, where the company plans to showcase the line as part of its summer introductions. Adventure Mattress had previously managed the Skechers mattress program, introducing the collection in 2025.

The collection combines Skechers’ consumer brand recognition with Serta’s mattress design and manufacturing, targeting consumers seeking comfort-focused sleep products tied to a familiar lifestyle brand.

The move expands Serta’s portfolio at a time when the company continues to invest in new product development. Earlier this year, Serta introduced its redesigned Perfect Sleeper collection and expanded its offerings with the iSeries NXG lineup.

“This launch represents a powerful intersection of two category leaders,” said Dominick Azevedo, chief sales officer for SSB. “Skechers has built an extraordinary reputation for delivering comfort at scale, and we’re excited to bring that same trusted experience into the mattress category. Retailers will benefit from the immediate brand recognition and consumer demand that Skechers commands.”

Serta is not a newcomer to the licensing game. Throughout its history, the mattress brand has had licenses with Vera Wang, Donald Trump, HGTV and Southern celebrity chef Paula Deen.

According to the mattress maker, the lineup is designed to reflect Skechers’ emphasis on comfort while incorporating sleep technologies developed by Serta. The companies said the collection will feature multiple comfort options and price points intended to appeal to a broad range of consumers.

The new mattress collection will feature hallmarks of the Skechers footwear line, including CozyFit, Max Cushioning and Arch Fit, with mattresses priced to retail from $699 to $1,399 in queen.

For Skechers, the agreement with SSB continues the push into the bedding category.

“We are thrilled to extend the Skechers brand into the sleep category with a partner that shares our commitment to improving the sleep experience for consumers of every age,” said Michael Greenberg, president of Skechers. “Serta brings deep category expertise and a strong retail footprint, making them an ideal partner to translate our comfort technologies into a compelling mattress offering.”

Tim Oakhill, chief marketing officer of SSB, said the partnership is a natural extension for both brands.

“Skechers has built a global reputation on comfort and accessibility, and Serta brings deep credibility in sleep innovation,” he said. “By leveraging well-known technologies like Arch Fit and Max Cushioning, we’re giving consumers a clear and credible reason to choose this brand, comfort they already know, now reimagined for better sleep.”
